Assembly instruction of kit double chainrings   If you replace a kit double chainrings with ours and everything is already right there should be nothing to adjust.   If you replace an existing kit triple chainrings with an Ari kit double chainrings there are just few easy steps to follow to obtain an optimal set up.   A. Once you have removed the crankset, you mount the outer chainring of the Ari kit double instead of the average, therefore inside the pedal, and the small chainring in his only possible position. The fixing position of the chainrings in respect of the crank arm can't be wrong: for the outer chainring the pin of brass must be placed under the crank arm. The small chainring must be mounted with the codes of the teeth and BCD (for example 25-64) aligned with the same codes (for example 40-104) of the outer chainring. B. You mount the crankset paying attention to the correct tightening of the bolts. It is suggested to use a wrench torque for this operation. The correct tightening torque is 5 NM. crews and bolts are mounted with  STRONG threadlocker as Loctite 270 or equivalent products. ARI bolts should be mounted with the male inside and the female outside C. Moving to an outer chainring smallest of the probable existing 44 teeth chainring, front derailleur will have to be moved down of few millimeters up to a distance similar to that shown in the photo. D. The outer limit stop of the front derailleur should be shortened to limit the movement and to allow only two shots. The inner limit stop the front derailleur could be correct but it is better to control it. E. The inclination of the correct limit stop of the derailleur must be corrected with small test adjustments until obtaining the use of the complete rear cassette with both with the larger and smaller chainring without the chain, even with the extreme crossings, will rub on the front derailleur but it just pass too close. F. Chain will be probably be shortened by how many plate depends on which outer chainring is used. For example, going from a 44 to a 40 at least two plates should be removed. Very important is to check with the cross chain on the larger chainrings, therefore front external and rear internal, the rear derailleur hanger is not fully extended onwards but still has some gap to avoid breakage G. To ensure that everything is working properly is also very important to make sure you have the chain in good conditions. It would be good practice to change it at chainrings change.     Now you're ready to go ..... HAVE FUN !!!     NB.  The pin of brass provided with the kit has a standard length of 12mm. Depending on the crank arm, it will probably have to be shortened.
